A solution to Manila traffic problems.
EDSA circumferential road in Manila, Philippines is often cited for the worst traffic in the world. See

Traffic in Metro Manila, based on the 2015 Global Satisfaction conducted by Waze, Metro Manila has the "worst traffic on Earth".

Real time EDSA traffic info
But if you are on EDSA you can look up 50 feet above you there is NO TRAFFIC. So the direction to build is obvious. But, "What is to be built?"

I am working on a design to move as many people as possible, tentatively called a FLATT (Fly Light Above The Traffic) model for moving people on a very lightweight overhead system that could be built above a congested roadway.
And so I am proposing flexible light weight electrically powered people transporters that can transport 3 motorcycles and say 9 people. No SUVs, jeepneys, trucks or buses allowed. Then the roadbed is very light but strongly built from some appropriate composite materials, e.g. carbon fiber composites.
Or perhaps the lightweight transporters should be simply suspended from a suspension strung between towers like an aerial tramway
And here is a list of aerial tramways
A modern maker of tramways
Here is an example:
Portland Aerial Tramway
And this one in Grenoble France.
